We are the Walters Family and we recently have expanded our business in the hospitality industry to include our very own slice of heaven on Lake Erie.

Under our company, Small City Roasting. we also operate the Bean Coffee House and now Hydrangea House. Our vision to “sip, shop, stay” in my hometown has finally come to life.

Hydrangea House is nestled in a quiet private neighborhood along Lake Erie. We have private beach access and a very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. We say this first as the love and attention we have put into this home we want you to know first and foremost our intentions with renting it out. Its for a peaceful getaway…not to party!

We hope that when visiting our home away from home that you find peace, comfort, or whatever else you may be looking for.

STEM

Stem is considered the main house. It has 1 full bed, 1 twin bed and 3 pull out couches to comfortably sleep 4. Our listing price includes 4 guests, with each additional guest up to 6 as an extra charge. The maximum guests permitted in the home is 6. We provide linens and towels. Please be aware this is a cottage so being mindful of the available beds to fit your personal needs is on you NOT us. We do not allow more than 6 guests at any time. Please request a booking for rates and availability.

The porch of the home features a beautiful view of the Lake as well as the sitting area off of the guest house. All guests have private beach access that is a short walk down the street. The beach is stone (not sand) which is a product of Lake Erie erosion but it still breathtaking and beautiful and allows for a fun time in the water!

LEAF

Leaf is our guest house and is a studio with a full bathroom and kitchen. This unit has 1 full bed and 1 daybed with trundle. This will comfortably sleep 3 people. There is a maximum occupancy for the guest house of 3 people. We provide linens and towels. Please be aware this is a cottage so being mindful of the available beds to fit your personal needs is on you NOT us. We do not allow more than 3 guests at any time.
